Found in the Bronx. Was brought over by Italian immigrants. Figs can be quite large, often over 100 grams. Mother tree is left uncovered in NYC. Ripens from Mid August til last frost.

Trees are shipped live. Occasionally, they are damaged, although this happens quite infrequently. Many times, if they are damaged, the damaged or pruned area will spur regrowth.
